Dr. Daniel Carrier
I have been working as the Dentist at the Monongalia County Health Department since August 3, 2010. I graduated from West Virginia University School of Dentistry in 2010 after receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from WVU in 2006. I grew up in Morgantown and graduated from University High School in 2002.
My practice philosophy with children is to stress prevention. This includes six month cleanings, fluoride treatments, regular x-rays and sealants. If there is a cavity that needs a filling, we like to fix them as early as possible, when they are the smallest.
My interests outside of dentistry include spending time with my wife, Anna, golfing and woodworking.

I have been working at the Monongalia County Health Department since 2000. I’m the dental assistant, and I manage the front office duties, such as scheduling and billing, and also provide chair-side assistance to the dentist, when needed.
I live in Fairmont, where I was born and raised, and graduated from Fairmont Senior High School in 1994. I earned my specialized associate degree in medical assisting and office technology from Webster College in Fairmont.
I live with my husband, Derek, and my 16-year-old son, Anthoney. I enjoy playing the Wii Fit and being outdoors when the weather is nice.
I also have three cats, Scratches, Luckey and Cinders, and a dog, Fidget, who keep me on my toes.
